Sneakerhead is an online shoe store committed to providing customers with a convenient and efficient way to find and purchase the shoes they desire. This user-friendly app streamlines the process.
The initial phase of the project primarily involved gathering information. To gain a deeper understanding of expectations, I conducted stakeholder interviews. With the insights gathered from these interviews, I was able to formulate a design strategy. Additionally, I conducted interviews with a few users to gain deeper insights into their shopping patterns.

Problems & Solutions
The Problem:
In the highly competitive e-commerce space, users often struggle to maintain focus when searching for specific products due to the overwhelming number of items offered. This can be discouraging as they need to streamline their search.
The Solution:
The Sneakerhead App aims to enhance the user's experience by saving time when searching for sneakers in various models, sizes, and colors.

Before beginning the UI design, I create wireframes to test them on a select group of users. I typically use interactive prototypes in Figma for testing. To achieve the best results, I utilize low-fidelity prototypes. This approach ensures that test subjects are not distracted by colors or styling, allowing them to concentrate on performing specific tasks and evaluating functionalities.

The selection of various shades of gray in the application reflects a desire for balance, making it easier for users to perceive the information I intended to convey about our sneakers. I chose to incorporate red, which signifies passion and love, to prompt action and evoke the desired emotions.
Font
Urbanist is a low-contrast, geometric sans-serif font inspired by Modernist design and typography. The font was created by Corey Hu in 2020. It was chosen to maintain a well-organized look and feel for the app. The primary focus is on enhancing app accessibility, resulting in a highly minimalistic design.
